On September 12th, representatives from Gloria Dei Communities delivered school supplies from an annual program called Tools for Schools. Residents and employees from Gloria Dei’s seven communities donated much needed school supplies and recess equipment to two needy schools – Jay Cooke Elementary School in Philadelphia and Samuel Faust Elementary in Bensalem.

Residents enjoyed Tools for Schools kick off parties that started the collections such as an ice cream social where each resident brings a school supply to get an ice cream sundae! Each year the residents generously donate many boxes of needed school supplies, and our bus was jam packed with supplies once again this year!
